Ensures regulatory compliance for natural gas plants with primary focus air program.

• Compile and analyze data
• Host state and federal inspectors on site visits
• Assist permitting personnel with RMP updates
• Submit reports to regulatory agencies
• Train facility personnel in all aspects of air program
• Function within existing environmental department
• Implement facility fence-line air monitoring
• Stay abreast of all current rules and regulations pertaining to air regulations and permits for oil and natural gas facilities.



• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferably in the field of physical sciences, natural sciences or engineering
• Minimum of four years’ experience in oil & gas processes
• A strong working knowledge of federal and West Virginia air regulations and programs
• A history of successfully working on environmental compliance issues
• Current valid driver's license
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Discretion when dealing with confidential information
• Ability to keep records, analyze and summarize raw data, in order to complete and submit summary and regulatory reports
• Ability to work well and communicate with plant personnel, state and federal regulators
• Strong computer skills required

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit and walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb and talk or hear. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in outside weather conditions. Noise levels within processing plants may require hearing protection.

Materials and Equipment Used:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly use hand tools, computers, phone, fax, copier, map printer/plotter and analytical electronic devices and operate a motor vehicle.
