POSITION SUMMARY:

Applicant will be required to operate and maintain a condensate stabilizing facility and natural gas compressor station. Duties will involve working with ethylene glycol re-boilers, heat exchangers, produced water, condensate, oil, and chemical storage tanks.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Will oversee contract personnel while working at the facility.
  • Computer skills to include, but not limited to word processing, excel spreadsheets, data entry and process variable adjustment at PLC controlled process units.
  • Prepare daily and monthly reports.
  • Troubleshoot abnormal operating conditions and adjust as required to maintain a safe and reliable operation as well as minor maintenance repairs.
  • General knowledge with monitoring pressures, temperatures, flows and liquid levels.
  • Experience with the use of electronic and pneumatic controllers, plant computerized control equipment, flow measurement, gas sampling and equipment to optimize operations.
  • General knowledge in the use of basic tools, and materials for repairs, maintenance, and construction activities.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company insurance requirements. Will be subject to DOT random drug and alcohol testing.
  • Ability to: lift items weighing up to 75 pounds; move items weighing up to 500 pounds with equipment assistance; use various hand tools and hoists; hear; see objects at close range and in the distance; and distinguish colors and relationship between objects; apply basic arithmetic; communicate effectively orally and in writing; understand and clarify oral and written instructions; follow company safety practices and policies; handle and maintain confidential information
