Supervises the day to day activities of the Fuels (Products) Scheduling operation and provides 24/7 support to ensure adequate response is provided to all operational needs.  Responsible for implementing tactical plans that support the company’s commercial crude strategy and the development operational policy. Provides continuous monitoring of the Fuels (Products) Truck Scheduling operation to ensure products are delivered safely, reliably, and at the greatest value to Andeavor and the customer.



  • Oversees the daily activity of Fuels (Products) Truck Scheduling operation to ensure that loads are scheduled in accordance with customer expectations and that deliveries are executed on time and without incident.  Responsible for the development of delivery schedules that focus on optimizing proprietary fleet assets and minimizing inefficiencies.  Works with third party carriers to provide delivery services for overflow volume as needed.
  • Collaborates with other departments to create policy and procedures drive results.  Implements tactical plans, programs, and processes that support departmental strategies.  Acts as the Distribution Services liaison for crude deliveries and works with Commercial, Marketing, Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Fleet Operations to solution all crude delivery related items.
  • Works with Producers, Pumpers, Gaugers and other field personnel to ensure well sites and delivery locations are safe, operational, and properly equipped. Gathers all required information regarding new customers and well sites and ensures that all required setup is completed and site prework is completed prior to first delivery. 
  • Oversees delivery incident resolution, conducts delivery incident investigation, performs root cause investigations, and oversees all incident documentation and notification requirements.  Provides customer support for delivery request and investigates all delivery discrepancies. Investigates truck freight expenses and provides necessary approvals for freight payments.  Performs root cause analysis of assessorial / demurrage invoices and negotiates with vendors to settle freight claims.
  • Provides supervision and direction to Fuels (Products) Truck Scheduling staff.  Ensures all schedulers receive proper training on business processes and applicable systems to ensure proficiency of role.  Manages work load distribution across team and provides coaching and mentoring of staff as required. Ensures success of the individual, team, and Andeavor by setting clear goals and driving performance




  • Minimum undergraduate degree in business, transportation or related field preferred.


  • Minimum 5 years’ truck dispatching experience preferably in Fuels (Products) transportation or oil field, required.  Supervisory experience preferred.
