Description: Utilizes state of the art software and modeling tools to determine transportation cost savings associated with proposed infrastructure projects and business opportunities. Provide market intelligence and conduct research focused in Latin American industry developments to support commercial activity. Interns work closely with analysts, schedulers, and traders and collaborate across departments to ensure optimal supply solutions are reached and costs are minimized. They manage databases of historical data, calculate demand growth potential for new markets, and leverage analytical tools to provide intelligence to the Latin America team. Interns will be responsible for strategic projects that create value and reduce operating costs for Marathon, providing the opportunity for exposure to various parts of our business.

 

Qualifications:

  • Desired majors are as follows: Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Finance or other related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA required
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in Spanish
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without the need for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Positions are available spring, summer, and fall semesters.
