Duties and Responsibilities

This position supports the day-to-day operations of the Andeavor Logistics’ Document Control department. Familiarity with pipelines, trucking and rail terminals, and processing plants is a must. This position uses experience-based judgment to execute daily responsibilities and has familiarity with DOT, PHMSA and OSHA (PSM) codes and standards. A successful candidate will be able to analyze data to provide accurate reporting and will contribute as a Document Control SME (Subject Matter Expert).  Candidates should thrive in interacting across departments as well as with external customers.

  • Must be able to work independently with regional operations and vendors to achieve results
  • Responsible for adhering to all department, business unit and corporate standards. Candidate will be required to adhere to all federal, state and local requirements to ensure complaint records management for the Logistics business unit
  • Responsible for providing analytics on electronic and hard copy records. Candidate must have working knowledge and proven use of building command prompt scripts that extract, move, and delete files from COMPANY network drives
  • Experience contributing to the Management of Change (MOC) workflow process is a must. Candidate will be responsible for working with the Logistics drafting department to produce as-built construction drawing records and will be responsible for ensuring the receipt of compliant construction records and job books
  • Prior experience with technical writing is preferred, with demonstrated experience in drafting standards and workflows
  • Will be required to visit existing and new assets to locate documentation (paper and electronic) and facilitate the gathering of information, indexing, scanning, transfer, and storage to ensure all technical and regulatory information is obtained per the corporate records retention schedule
  •  Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products is required. Prior experience in SharePoint design is required. Candidate must be able to modify and build SharePoint site pages, assign permissions, and create and modify document lists and libraries
  • Prior experience as a power-user or system administrator of ProjectWise is needed. Familiarity with AutoCAD is preferre

 

Requirements

 

Education

·         Bachelor’s degree preferred

 

MUST demonstrate proficiency in:

·         Microsoft Office suite

·         SharePoint design and administration

·         AutoCAD (preferred)

·         ProjectWise (preferred)

 

Experience

·         3-5 years of midstream oil and gas document control experience is required
