SUMMARY

This position supports the Crude Gathering Midstream (Logistics) business unit and is responsible for consolidating and analyzing enterprise data from multiple sources in order to inform the business and support effective decision making on operations and strategy.  Prepares reports and analysis to identify and monitor business drivers that affect profitability and support overall management strategy.

 

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Compiles and consolidates data from various sources for monthly performance reporting and forecast modeling
  • Analyzes and reports monthly Crude Gathering operational and financial results, identifies key business drivers and provides guidance to leadership.
  • Coordinates and prepares the monthly forecast and long-term business plan for assigned Crude Gathering assets.
  • Works closely with Operational Business Managers to report and evaluate financial and operational performance results relative to business plan.
  • Acts as liaison to business segment for financial related matters, responds to inquiries, and may facilitate accounting activities.
  • May lead special projects related to area of expertise, which may include facilitating budget process, process/systems improvements, and other recurring or ad-hoc initiatives.
  • Prepares ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis as required. 

 

 EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years in business or financial analysis required.
  • Hyperion experience a plus

 

 SKILLS

  • Strong knowledge of finance and accounting concepts and principles
  • Solid understanding of key business drivers
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Actively seeks out opportunities for improvement
  • Ability to perform moderately complex financial modeling and analysis
