  • Facilitate, schedule, perform and document daily, weekly, monthly routine and preventive maintenance, work orders, integrity management, operational reliability, regulatory compliance
  • Facilitate, maintain, diagnose, assess, inspect, calibrate facility instrumentation, monitoring and control systems, measurement devices, tank gauging equipment, VRU CEMs and analyzers, etc.
  • Facilitate and coordinate PM and I&E work flow in the SAP notification/work order system for routine, preventive maintenance on equipment and facility instrumentation
  • Facilitate Procedure development for operations implementation, updates and training.
  • Facilitate quality assurance testing, documentation and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide coverage and assistance for on call duty, vacations, training, drills, responses, incidents and other times as per schedule or emergencies.
  • Conduct reviews of Operating and Safety Procedures, O&M Manuals, Work Permits, ATWs, Lock out/Tag out permits, Hot Work permits, Confined Space Permits.
  • Facilitate non-routine maintenance, repair, technical, mechanical and I&E needs for special project activities, operations, repairs, system upgrades, pre-job safety reviews, PSSRs and safe startup, etc.
  • Facilitate updates and changes to facilities including the MOC process, manuals, procedures, drawings, P&IDs, employee training, etc.
  • Facilitate and assist with inspections, reviews and audits, work on the resolutions and completion of action items of recommendations from audits, facilitate and/or assist with reviews of incidents and near miss reports.  Follow action items to resolution.
  • Facilitate and review Safety Training for the facilities.  Employees, carriers, drivers, contractors and 3rd parties who use our facilities or perform work at the facilities.
  • Have knowledge of truck facilities, light fuels, crudes and overall Logistics operations.


Position Overview:

This position is responsible for safe operations and regular daily functions to operate and maintain a product terminal, crude unloading facility and a transloading facility.  The position holder performs maintenance, repair, calibrations, mechanical and I&E technical duties for these operations and tracks and documents the activities.  The holder of this position must coordinate and work with Operations to assure compliance and a safe working environment via open communication, training and collaboration.  Must be able and available to work after hours, emergencies and be on-call.



Logistics Operations

  • Maintain and oversee maintenance, repair and I&E work activities of the terminal facility, crude unloading facility and transloading facility. 
  • Perform maintenance, repair and monitoring on equipment and analyzer and gauge maintenance, repair and calibrations.
  • Conduct reviews of Operating and Safety Procedures, O&M Manuals, Work Permits, ATWs, Lock out/Tag out permits, Hot Work permits, Confined Space Permits
  • Maintain current job training for performing assigned responsibilities. 
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with internal work team and external customers
  • Work environment varies with indoor, outdoor, all weather, support local and other activities in the region.  Physical ability to safely lift up to 50lbs and work in a physical environment of mechanical repairs and maintenance.
  • Ability to work a fluctuating, rotating schedule including on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis and respond to callouts


Safety Assurance

  • Periodically inspect facilities to assure safe working conditions, communicate any safety concerns
  • Explain and convey safety plans and procedures to visitors, contractors, vendors, agency officials, customers, and employees from other facilities
  • Review and maintain knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
  • Maintain current Health & Safety training.
  • Help assure that the facilities security at all times.


Sustainability Assurance and Emergency Response

  • Alert all appropriate individuals – inside and outside the Company – of any emergency situation as provided in Emergency Response Plans, Facility Contingency Plans, or Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures Plans (SPCC). 
  • Perform inspections for environmental compliance as directed.
  • Maintain current environmental regulatory training.
  • Cooperate and assist with third party environmental compliance audits as deemed necessary by the Company.




  • Minimum High School diploma or GED.
  • Associates degree/education in Mechanical, I&E or Technical subject or relevant experience
  • Desired: Hazwoper training or familiarity with working with hazardous materials and/or petroleum products
  • Basic working knowledge of computer based programs, i.e. Word, Excel, etc. 


  • 3+ years industry experience, demonstrating dependability in the work environment. Mechanical/maintenance, Instrumentation Technical background.


  • Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, contractors, vendors, and customers 
  • Knowledge of standard word processing and spreadsheet computer software.  Knowledge of intranet and internet navigation.
  • Strong problem solving, organization, and deductive reasoning skills. 
  • Self motivated, manage and prioritize work and schedule and demands of the operations.
  • Willing and able to work extended hours and on call shifts
