POSITION SUMMARY: 

In general, this position will perform any measurement, system operations maintenance & technical issues related to MarkWest Western Oklahoma. The primary duties will include meter testing, calibration and troubleshooting etc. Secondary duties will include but are not limited to pipeline operations and compressor operations as well as operating Dehydration stations on an as needed or routine basis.

 

In particular, these tasks may include, but are not limited to:

  • Meter testing.
  • Maintaining meter-testing schedule.
  • Pull gas samples.
  • Test gas for dew point and H2S.
  • Install, maintain and troubleshoot Gas Meters
  • Installing and maintaining Spread Spectrum radios.
  • Operate and maintain portable gas chromatograph.
  • Maintain excellent relationship and trust with producers.
  • Actively support the MW Environmental Health and Safety Philosophy through participation in all aspects of the EH&S program.
  • Safe operation of a company vehicle in accordance with policy and procedures.
  • Maintaining the company vehicle at all times to ensure safety to him and the equipment that he will operate.
  • Maintaining the tools and equipment issued to him.
  • Reporting any unsafe condition or situation that would compromise the integrity of any MWWOK equipment or locations.
  • Making any or all repairs as deemed reasonable and safe to do so.
  • Pipeline operations.
  • Pipeline pigging.
  • Compressor operations.
  • Maintaining daily compressor reports.
  • Maintaining accurate condensate records.
  • Managing condensate levels at any or all compressor stations in his area.
  • Take call on a regular basis.
  • Work weekends on a rotating basis.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 1 years of applicable experience.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to work well under time pressures.
  • Ability to coordinate, prioritize and execute many tasks at once.
