Process Safety Coordinator

 

This position will be part of the Pipe Line ES&R Process Safety group.

 

The primary responsibility of this position will be to own and lead the continuous improvement effort for assigned PSM elements. The emphasis for this role is on compliance with OSHA PSM and EPA RMP regulations where applicable, incorporating Process Safety best practice elements into non-regulated facilities, and conforming to applicable Corporate and L&S Standards.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Process owner for Process Hazard Analysis (PHA)/ Process Hazard Review (PHR) responsible for coordinating and facilitating PHA/PHRs for projects and facilities as well as managing internal standards and guidance documents associated with this process.
  2. Process owner for Facility Siting responsible for supporting the organization with safe placement of occupied portable and permanent buildings within MPL facilities.
  3. Process owner for Risk Management Plan (RMP) Program and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Coordinate training materials for Process Safety Department and work with HR L&D for implementation.
  5. Liaison with Process Safety Element Owners for element support.

 

Travel: Up to 25%

 

Mid-career position with Bachelor's Degree required....Engineering Degree preferred with previous Process Safety and/or operations experience.
