Overview 

The Management Systems Coordinator is responsible for ensuring management systems are incorporated throughout MPL by providing guidance to MPL Process Leaders, Element Champions, and Element Owners. This position is responsible for maintaining MPL’s Operational Excellence Management System conformance, including facilitation of RC14001, API RP 1173 Pipeline Safety Management System and Tier III audits. The position reports to the Strategic Planning Supervisor, and regularly interacts with the OE Coordinator & MPL Process Leaders.

 

Responsibilities

  • Be a subject matter expert for RC14001 & AP RP1173
  • Ensure preparedness of participants and facilitate management system audits
  • Coordinate MPL's Operational Excellence Management System application and the Process Performance & Planning Cycle, including maintenance and development of necessary electronic tools.
  • Assist with the development and tracking of appropriate metrics that can be communicated to leadership regarding the effectiveness and maturity of the MPL Management System as well as the processes within it.
  • Participate on industry teams as requested.
  • Provide check and adjust reviews of the Operational Excellence Management System tools.

 

Qualifications

  • Experience or certification of Lean Six Sigma preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of MPL process leader experience preferred
