This IT Business Analyst position is supporting  -  SAP Finance - Accounts Payable, Receivable and General Ledger SAP Finance. Previous SAP knowledge a plus but not a requirement. This position requires working out of the Company’s headquarters in Findlay, OH.


Job Responsibilities

  • Meet with internal business partners to gather and document business requirements.
  • Work closely with ABAP developers on design, testing, troubleshooting and implementation of enhancements.
  • Develop test plans, and support documentation for supported systems.
  • Identify research and resolve system issues proactively and provides recommendations to management, customers and peers.
  • Plan for future enhancements and also makes recommendations for efficiently using our systems to meet the business requirements.
  • Interface with other IT teams to collaboratively address issues.
  • Provide problem resolution and Tier 1 support for SAP applications.
  • After hours support may be required at times for high priority issues and requests.
  • Stay knowledgeable of the latest technologies, trends and strategies within the industry and company. Identify if they can be utilized to improve productivity or decrease costs.
  • Stay knowledgeable of local and corporate standards and procedures. Ensure all work adheres to applicable standards or procedures.
  • Conduct self-audits when requested to ensure adherence to IT standards and procedures.
  • Obtain a growing knowledge of the business departments’ functions and processes.
  • Support the corporate culture by personal involvement in activities to enhance performance in Health, Environment and Safety & Corporate Social Responsibility.
  • Utilize Project Management, Change Management methodologies
  • Develop and share knowledge of the SAP Finance & Procurement business process and industry best practices


Technical experience relevant to:
SAP Finance and Procurement knowledge a plus!

  • OpenText Vendor Invoice Management, SAP HANA, BW, BOBJ, FICO experience – beneficial, but not required
  • Application integration tools such as Business Objects Data Services (BODS), SAP PI, are beneficial
  • Other tools that are beneficial: UI Path, Hyperion, Tableau, .Net.  Solution Manager, Aris, HP Quality Center / Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Winshuttle and Autosys
