The Advanced Accounting Analyst works with personnel from various organizations, including various levels of management, to prepare a series of reports on a consolidated basis and provide support in the preparation of external financial statement disclosures. The Accounting Analyst also coordinates internal accounting training for the Controller’s Organization. The successful candidate must be proficient in the creation, modification, and use of Excel spreadsheets. The position also requires someone with excellent attention to detail. Some experience with SAP (including profit and cost center hierarchies) applications is preffered.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • SEC 10Q and 10K disclosure and reporting
  • Various monthly and quarterly operating and statistical analysis
  • Review all lease and service agreements to determine accounting classification
  • Quarterly Schedule of Capital Lease Commitments
  • Coordinate Quarterly Technical Accounting Training
  • Conducting special studies and project work as needed
     

Qualifications:

Degree: Bachelor's degree is required

Major Discipline: Accounting

Years Experience: A minimum of eight (8) years experience

Certification: CPA preferred
