Overview:

The Advanced Financial Analyst position is responsible for maintaining the Hyperion Planning application, which is the system utilized for budgeting and forecasting.  This position will have significant interaction with various organizations throughout the company that utilize Hyperion for these purposes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains Hyperion Planning and provides support for the various applications (Budget, R&M Forecasting, Income Consolidation, G&P, Pipeline, Crude Gathering, Refining Performance) that comprise the overall system
  • Collaborates with business partners to identify and implement enhancements/process improvements to their respective applications
  • Translates business requirements from business partners to specifications utilized by outside contractors during application build outs and upgrades to existing applications
  • Collaborates with the IT support organization on the following activities:
    • Maintain and update interfaces impacted by Project Unify
    • Ensures Hyperion Planning receives required patches and upgrades as required
  • Serves as a resource for organizations in the adding, modifying or removal of roles, profiles, accounts, formulas, scripting, FDMEE mapping, forms, etc. within Hyperion

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Business, Finance, Computer Science, MIS or related field
  • 4+ yrs experience with Essbase, SAP, BPC 
  • Previous Hyperion experience is a plus 

 

Skills:

  • SAP experience is a plus
  • Strong communication skills to effectively communicate/translate
  • Be able to work in a team environment
  • Experience with reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Hyperion) is a plus
  • Project management experience is a plus
