About the Job

Responsibilities of the Environmental Compliance Professional position include:  

  • Provide support and oversight to a number of petroleum product terminals related to air, water, waste and other environmental topics
  • Interact closely with operations personnel, regulators, and other internal/external stakeholders
  • Evaluate project proposals for environmental impacts
  • Interpret regulations and develop compliance strategies to meet applicable regulations and associated record keeping requirements.
  • Obtain and maintain environmental permits
  • Support environmental compliance issues and pollution prevention and management efforts
  • Participate in field audits
  • Prepare technical reports required by permits and applicable regulations/rules

 

Requirements

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical track (Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Geology, Chemistry, etc.); environmental compliance experience is preferred. This position requires approximately 40% travel (including some overnight travel).
