POSITION LOCATION:  This position would reside in either Bridgeport, WV; Tulsa, OK; Canonsburg

 

POSITION SUMMARY:  This position reports to the Measurement Project Manager providing project controls support on measurement projects across the company. This position would reside in either Bridgeport, WV; Tulsa, OK; Canonsburg, PA based on the location of qualified candidate. The Sr. Project Controls Analyst is responsible for developing and updating measurement project schedules, storing and maintaining project bids, drawings and other project related data. The Sr. Project Controls Analyst will also work with the project team to get Purchase Orders submitted, AFE forecasting, and budget tracking completed. The Analyst will assist with storing project related data such as: project bid packages, scope of work documents, metering schematics, wiring diagrams, TAG sheets associated with each project. This position serves as the primary departmental point of contact for the facilitation of MSA/MPA/PSCs, ISNetWorld compliance, and Share-point folder maintenance.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Works in conjunction with corporate personnel & Field Project Managers, Specialists, vendors, and contractors to provide senior level support on both capital and operational projects by taking the lead in the following functions:
 

  • Work with Measurement Project Team to develop and manage project schedules relative to project milestones and deliverables, using Microsoft Projects. Develop Gantt Charts or project planning sheets as needed for measurement projects to manage and track construction progress, fabrication stages, hold-points, inspection dates & equipment deliveries
  • Maintain Communication with key members of different project teams for projects in the NEBU and SWBU’s
  • Work with the different project teams to get Purchased Orders created and submitted for the different BU’s.
  • Track PO progress through chain of approvals via I-Procure through creation, approval, material delivery, and payment.
  • Perform economic analysis of budgets, material packages, and bid packages.
  • Update and manage all folders, including non-routine request from other personnel on the company intranet relating to gas and liquid measurement projects, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Schematics, Standards, etc.
  • Work with new customers to facilitate needed MSA/MPA/PSCs, and ISNetworld compliance to bring new companies on board to do business with MarkWest.
  • Other duties as assigned.

     

    SUPERVISORY DUTIES:  Sr. Project Controls Analyst may direct contractors from time to time.

     

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a High School degree, Associates or Bachelors of Science  preferred; 3-5 years relative experience may substitute. Current valid driver's license required. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of individuals & employees with a professional demeanor. Ability to Manage and Prioritize work load is a must. Occasional travel expected. Functional knowledge of Oracle, Microsoft Excel, Project, Word & Visio
