The Senior Recruiter will provide support to MarkWest managers and supervisors company-wide in all their recruiting efforts. Manage external recruiters and recruiting websites as well as manage the recruiting process for all positions at MarkWest.

• Build relationships with the hiring managers and guide them through the hiring process
• Initiate the process for open position requests submitted by managers
• Screen all resumes submitted through our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and forward qualified candidates to managers
• Source candidates
• Build relationships with possible future candidates identified through the screening process to maintain an active candidate pool
• Prescreen potential candidates; interview selected candidates for all Denver positions and other locations as requested
• Manage the MarkWest approved 3rd party recruiters; screen and oversee the approval process for additional recruiting sources (if needed) to determine individuals/organizations that best meet MarkWest’s needs/requirements
• Manage our recruiting websites to ensure jobs are posted and taken down timely and branding is appropriate/optimized




• BS in Human Resources or related field
• Minimum of five (5) years of Human Resources experience as a Recruiter or similar role
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to engage individuals at all levels in the organization
• Advanced planning and organizational skills, including attention to detail
• Proven ability to prioritize work and manage time
• Commitment to protecting confidentiality
• Proficiency using an Applicant Tracking System
• Advanced PC skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated self-initiative and ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Familiarity with employment related laws, regulations and requirements
• Desire to continuously learn and understand the business


Physical Demands:

• Sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
• Regularly work in office for 40+ hours a week
• Travel to MarkWest locations to interact with supervisors and management as needed

Working Environment:

Generally working in an office environment, however, may require visiting and walking around various MarkWest work sites, driving on rural roads, and other field locations.

Materials and Equipment Used:

The materials and equipment used on a regular basis will be a personal computer, phone, fax, and copier.
