Manage Northeast Region’s vehicle fleet which includes coordinating with MarkWest Field Operations and departments to determine vehicle needs, reviewing utilization and providing updates to management. This position is also responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring and improving processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the fleet administration process.

Supports management of the region’s motor vehicles in compliance with established directives by taking the lead in or assisting with the following functions:
• Set up, track, forecast, and report vehicle inventory.
• Obtain quotes for new vehicles and arrange orders for new vehicle leases or purchases as approved by management.
• Seek new cost savings opportunities without sacrificing work efficiencies.
• Standardize vehicles, point of origin, option packages, safety features, etc.
• Coordinate with local office assistants and administrators to ensure proper maintenance and service of vehicles.
• Track budgeting and provide budget status reports to leadership.
• Develop effective reporting and visibility into fuel card usage for supervisors.
• Ensure company vehicle assignments are consistent with established policy.
• Maintain and coordinate company’s vehicle pools at several different locations to ensure vehicle availability to meet business needs.
• Establish forms, processes, and procedures necessary to effectively carry out job duties.
• Ensure proper/accurate registration including renewals and inspections are completed in accordance with state requirements.
• Coordinate with Risk Management/Insurance carriers to monitor accident costs, verify damages and confirm repairs.
• Support the process for obtaining Motor Vehicle Reports (MVRs) and ensuring driving records for employees are up to date and accurate.
• Possess and maintain an understanding of current DOT and State vehicle requirements to ensure vehicles remain in compliance.
• Occasional travel (~25%) to field locations with some overnight stays required to perform duties of the position
• Review the vehicle utilization, mileage and age to determine when new vehicles need to be ordered.
SUPERVISORY DUTIES: The vehicle fleet administrator may direct contractors involved with vehicle purchases and services.

• 3-5 years of fleet coordinator or fleet administration experience preferred
• 2 years of experience in the natural gas industry in an administration, procurement, accounting, cost management, or contracts role preferred 
• Accounting or similar degree or certification is a plus
• Current valid driver's license required
