Ensures regulatory compliance for construction projects with primary focus in erosion/sedimentation control, water quality program and temporary/permanent aquatic resource impacts.

• Participate in pre-project planning with engineering and construction groups
• Coordinate resource surveys and wetland delineations
• Direct teams of field inspectors
• Provide training and direction to construction personnel
• Interface with federal and state regulators



• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferably in the field of physical sciences, natural sciences or engineering
• Minimum of four years’ experience in oil & gas processes
• A strong working knowledge of federal and West Virginia erosion/sedimentation control and water quality regulations and programs
• Ability to read and interpret erosion/sediment plan sheets and construction plan drawings
• Current valid driver's license
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Discretion when dealing with confidential information
• Ability to keep records, analyze and summarize raw data, in order to fill out and submit summary and regulatory reports
• Ability to work well and communicate with all plant personnel and senior managers
• Strong computer skills required

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit and walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb and talk or hear. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in outside weather conditions. Noise levels within processing plants may require hearing protection.

Materials and Equipment Used:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly use hand tools, computers, phone, fax, copier, map printer/plotter and analytical electronic devices and operate a motor vehicle.
