SUMMARY

Collaborate closely with Pipeline Management / Supervisors and field staff in coordinating the safe and efficient execution of expense, emergency, break-in, routine and preventative maintenance work including small projects.

 

RESPONSIBILTIES

Ensure all regulatory work orders are planned, scheduled, and executed within regulatory due date timeframe to stay in compliance with DOT, PHMSA, etc. Will work with Pipeline personel to ensure all work orders are completed in SAP for documentation purposes & KPI Reports. Converts approved SAP notifications into work orders. Initiates purchasing requisitions and delivers to Procurement. Monitor, manage and communicate status and deviations from the planning schedule. Provide support to management team in the analysis, development, implementation, and evaluation of activities. Manages the Maintenance Work Order Backlog and assists Operations with the managing their work order back log. Responsible for maintaining accurate information in SAP for work order and equipment history files. Creates and generates reports, attends meetings and maintains a file of Lessons Learned. Collects data for newly acquired assets, monitors company equipment along with Preventative Maintenance Plans in SAP to ensure company adheres to staying in compliance.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: 

  • Minimum High school diploma or GED required. 

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 5 years Pipeline and / or Terminal Operations and Maintenance activities in the Oil Industry and or equivalent required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience communicating and interfacing with all levels of company and outside contacts to include vendors and contractors.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple activities concurrently and work in high-stress situations with critical deadlines.
  • Individual must be an organized self-starter with the ability to take the initiative to complete work in a timely manner
  • Knowledge of Equipment terminology and use of parts/service manuals.
  • Utilize CMMS (SAP) computer software and other computer applications (MS Excel, MS Project, MS Access, etc.) to support the planning function.
  • Ability to work overtime, travel < 10%, work outdoors
