POSITION SUMMARY: This position will perform any system or station operations maintenance and technical issues. These duties will include daily pipeline and compressor station operations, dehydrators, pumps and other associated equipment. The position will have the responsibility to give assistance to construction, measurement and instrumentation on an as needed basis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Tasks may include, but are not limited to:
• Pipeline operations including pipeline pigging
• Compressor station operations.
• Maintaining clean and safe compressor locations.
• Minor and major compressor maintenance.
• Maintaining scheduled preventative maintenance programs.
• Maintaining daily compressor reports.
• Managing condensate at any or all assigned compressor stations.
• Reporting any unsafe condition that would compromise the equipment integrity.
• Making any repairs as deemed reasonable and safe.
• Operating and maintaining a company assigned vehicle.
• Maintaining the tools and equipment issued.
• Take call out as assigned on a regular basis.
• Work weekends on a rotating basis.
• Ordering compressor parts as needed

SUPERVISORY DUTIES: Limited to the supervision of contract crews.

• 1-3 years of applicable experience.
• Self Motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills,
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to coordinate, prioritize and execute many tasks at once.

Limited to the procurement of operational supplies.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Technical school or training preferred. Continuing education should include completion of training schools and seminars with focus on topics related to job responsibilities. A minimum of ten (10) years associated field experience required.
Must possess demonstrable knowledge of PC’s (personal computers), analog systems and devices and application of instrument calibration software. Safety knowledge of natural gas, chemicals, pressurized equipment and high voltage is necessary. Use and care of the following tools and equipment is necessary: personal computer, calibration test equipment, hand tools, and volt and amp meters.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as, safety rules, MSDS’s operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to peers and supervisors regarding equipment problems. Ability to work cooperatively with others.

Must have current vehicle operator's license with an insurable driving record.
